EXTREME CARVING:

It is a practice of snowboarding which consists of chaining
bends completely lying on the snow.

Patrice FIVAT and Jacques RILLET are at the origin of Extremecarving in 2002, and were able to popularize it with their 1st Extremecarving boards in 2003 for the public.

Thanks to increasingly meticulous SWOARD equipment and a technique adapted to this practice, it is now possible to carve to the extreme, manage to slide on the snow with the whole body lying down with the head 2cm from the white gold, what sensations!!!

Says " Patrice Fivat ":

In the minds of today's public, snowboarding is synonymous with stunt jumps (something adults over 30 don't identify with) and freeriding (you rarely find the conditions you see in the movies) .

The big brands have forgotten all those who are looking for something else, focusing mainly on teenagers. Carving has become very popular on skis, while we owe its invention to alpine snowboarding ("wasp waist").

We offer a return to the very essence of snowboarding: gliding, beautiful turns, purity of gesture. It can be done on the track! Alpine snowboarding (which is practiced with rigid boots resembling ski boots, but which are not!) is enjoying a new lease of life with many small brands, and a practice that has greatly evolved. The lying and chained turns provide very exhilarating sensations, as much as beautiful turns in virgin powder.
